Guided theater walks:

Walking with Trilussa through the center of Rome: to discover the streets of one of the most representative voices of Rome: his birthplace, his childhood home, the Via del Collegio where he went to school, the editorial office of the newspaper he worked for and the places mentioned in his sonnets, which often tell us more about his life than he would have liked to let on! Caravaggio, the sword and charity. Sword and charity are the symbols of the painter’s obsession with which he tries to bring justice in a world of court plots, challenges and corruption. You will walk through the alleys that still have their seventeenth-century appearance, the events and paintings of Caravaggio will come back to life. Info.

 

Exhibitions:

We recommend two unmissable exhibitions that are worth the trip to Rome.

Botero at Palazzo Bonaparte, until 19 January 2025, Rome hosts a major exhibition dedicated to the beloved Colombian artist FERNANDO BOTERO, who recently passed away. Paintings, watercolors and sculptures and some unpublished works will be exhibited in the rooms of the Palace in an exhibition that will be the most complete ever held in Rome. Tickets.

Rome Women Painter. Artists at work between the 16th and 18th centuries, exhibition hosted at the Museum of Rome at Palazzo Braschi until 23 March 2025. 130 works by the many women artists who from the 16th to the 19th century made Rome their place of study and work with a rich, varied and absolutely artistic production.
